At Municipal Theatre, 09:30a.m from Monday to Friday, sunny or raining, you will find yellow guides (the "amarelinhos" famous Cinelandia) for 3 hours tours in the main sights of downtown Rio. The tour is free, but, they accept tips! To get there the best way is to go by metro to the station Cinelandia. There's Bike Rio stations on site. More information: http://riofreewalkingtour.com.br/ There is also another group that promotes tours 10: 30h, leaving at Largo da Carioca, 10:30 a.m. from Monday to Saturday, in front of the big clock. 2. Cross ferry from Rio to Niterói

Catch a ferry at Praça XV toward Araribóia station in Niterói can be one of the most impressive rides you will do in Rio. Cross the Guanabara Bay, spotting the center of Rio, the Museum of Tomorrow, the Fiscal Island, Sugar Loaf, the Christ the Redeemer, Rio-Niterói bridge and the MAC Museum in Niteroi will probably be one of the most stunning views you will make in life. On days with clear skies and no fog, you may spot until the mountain " Finger of God" in Teresopolis ( Mountain city near to Rio). Avoid taking the ferry in rush hours, from 07am and 10am and between 5pm up to 8pm, because it is not a tourist attraction in the city, but a mass of means of transport, which lead niteroienses to Downtown Rio and vice versa. The new darling of the city, the newly opened Museum of Tomorrow, in Mauá Square, downtown Rio, has an interactive digital collection to make you think and act on today and tomorrow. The design is of the famous Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and the only museum in itself is a breathtaking program. Tuesdays the admission is free. The best way to reach the place is by bus, subway (Uruguaiana) and there are bike racks and bike Rio on site. More information: http://www.museudoamanha.org.br/
4. Rent a bike at the Bike Rio and ride around the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon

The Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon is leaning between the Christ Redeemer, Ipanema, Leblon and the Dois Irmãos Hill, in a setting that will make you make sure (If you doubt it) that God exists before such beauty. The bike path has 7.5 kilometers long and many parks on your route. You can take a bycicle in one of the stations in their own pond or in the subway station General Osorio in Ipanema. 5. Up the Morro da Urca (Sugar Loaf) by trail.

This tour is for nature lovers and hiking fans. Arriving at Red Beach, where the cable car station of Sugar Loaf station is located, in the neighborhood Urca, the side of the beach there is a footpath (sidewalk) that rising slowly, it will take 45 minutes to reach the top. Enjoy the scenery and the view of the forest, the site is very well signposted. Make the program in the afternoon, take the time to see the sunset and take the last cable car to go down, which is free. If you can not wait, go back down the trail.
