The public footpath that runs from the Warehouses 1 to 8 shown an area that returns to the population as a wooded park dedicated to leisure and sports outdoors, with the passageway od the light vehicle rail ( VLT).
It gave to the citizens the opportunity to discover an area of the city that was previously restricted to the Marine Officers. The place that is open to the public is 3,5km long and begins at the Museum of Tomorrow, Praça Mauá, passing through Praça Barão de Ladário on the margins of the Guananbara Bay, Mosteiro de São Bento and ends at Praça da Misericórdia where is Museu Histórico Nacional ( National Historic Museum).
Open for pedestrians and cyclist, this section of Orla Conde has a wooden deck and 22 gardens with species like the Ipê-Amarelo, Pau Brasil, and Pitanga.
