Besides to Terminal Rodoviário da Alvorada, there is one of the most recent and relevant cultural venues of the city. The contemporary lines of the building are the bases for a large complex thought of to receive all kinds of cultural manifestation.
There is a big concert room an Art Gallery, a Reading room chamber theater, electroacoustic room, among others spaces, all gathered in 87000 m² the constructed area.
The Cidade das Artes has a different kind of activities that it gathers. Plays, Musical Presentations, Performances by Orquestra Sinfônica Brasileira (Brazilian Symphonic Orchestra), activities for children and music festivals are events promoted.
