Escadaria Selarón/ Selaron Stairs

The Steps that slope connecting the Cardeal Câmara Square, in Lapa to Hermenegildo de Barros St in Santa Teresa. Officially its name is the Ladeira de Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa’s Slope’), however, everyone known like Escadaria Selarón (‘Selaron Stairs’)- in honor of the Chilean artist who decorated with colered an mirrored mosaics.
