Like a colony of Portugal, Brazil had a lot of invasions from others countries. It mixed with the native Indians and slaves brought from Africa, became Brazil and especially Rio in a multicultural city, but with an original personality.

You can find this character in our food, habits, architecture, music and ours museums.

Today, Rio de Janeiro, second largest town in Brazil, after São Paulo, is considered the cultural capital of Brazil. Although São Paulo to be the most cosmopolitan and international city than Rio, Rio de Janeiro is a trendsetter for others regions in all of Brazil and central stage for foreign and domestic tourism.
